This illustration was commissioned by Vittles UK to support an article by Louise Benson on the erosion of personal identity, mirrored in the decline of Hong Kong's Cha Chaan Teng culture.
The central figure ruminates on her half-British, half-Hong Kong identity. The shadow she casts is reminiscent of tiles commonly found in Hong Kong's Cha Chaan Tengs.
